ITALIAN VILLAGE DIVIDED BY A LANDSLIDE

The landslide has been occurred at a speed of one meter per day. Nearly 100 people were homeless in the Italian village of Ponzano.

A slow landslide is affecting the village of Ponzano di Civitella del Tronto, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Thirty-five houses were evacuated and about 100 people were left homeless.

In addition to destroying the village, a hill is also being split in half and the landslide is advancing at a rate of one meter per day. Half the village is now in danger of being swallowed up by the lands.

The region of Abruzzo had already been affected by a series of earthquakes in 2016. Experts indicate that the landslide is due to the combined effect of the earthquakes that were felt in the region and the accumulation of snow, which melted very quickly soaking the soil.

AUSTRALIA – 21.02.2017

AIRPLANE CRASH
AGAINST COMMERCIAL CENTER
IN AUSTRALIA

Plane crash makes five dead in Melbourne.

A small plane crashed into a commercial center near Essendon airport, shortly after taking off at 9:00 am (22h00 UTM). The device suffered a motor failure, and the pilot still attempted to return to the runway where he had taken off, but this was not possible .

The five victims to be registered are four North American tourists and the Australian pilot. The aircraft had been chartered to take tourists from Essendon, north of Melbourne, to King Island, 55 minutes south.

It was still an hour before the mall opened, and the authorities confirmed that no one inside had been injured. The private “charter” barely missed a motorway with heavy traffic, which is next to the shopping center.
