Youth4Resilience: Mapping Risks, Shaping Futures

Goals:

  • Participation of young people and community members in Risk Cafés.
  • Participatory mapping of areas with higher vulnerability and exposure to risks.
  • Identification and mapping of shelters, evacuation points, and other emergency infrastructure.
  • Assessment of the physical characteristics of the area and potential obstacles to emergency response, including old buildings and on-street parking that may hinder access and mobility.
  • Collection and integration of local knowledge and community experiences.
  • Raising awareness of local risks and strengthening preparedness, response, and risk mitigation capacities.
  • Development of risk communication materials to support community awareness and engagement.
