Paula Teves Costa participated in the Civil Society program about earthquakes, broadcast on February 23rd on RTP2. In addition to the history, origin, and danger of seismic activity, seismic risk, advances in early warning systems, and preventative measures were also discussed. Technicians and researchers from the University of Évora, the Instituto Superior Técnico, the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), and the National Emergency and Civil Protection Command (ANEPC) also participated.
